The healing power of : Hot peppers. (1)

Hot (chili/cayenne) peppers, and the healing capacities

Cayenne pepper - prized for thousands of years for its healing power.
Folklore from around the world recounts amazing results using cayenne pepper in simple healing and in baffling health problems. But cayenne pepper is not just a healer from ancient history.
Recent clinical studies have been conducted on many of the old-time health applications for this miracle herb. Again and again, the therapeutic value of cayenne pepper has been medically validated."
In a recent letter to the editors of the New England Journal of Medicine, three Italian doctors describe how they were able to reduce patients' reported dyspepsia symptoms by more than half - by prescribing red pepper powder. In a study of 30 patients with functional dyspepsia, half of the participants received a placebo, while the other half took 2.5 grams of red pepper powder each day (divided into capsules taken before each of three meals). Both groups took their respective treatments for five weeks, and rated their symptoms each day on a scale of zero to three (higher scores indicated more severe symptoms). By the third week, the red pepper group showed a significant advantage over the control group. And by week five, the pepper group's symptoms had declined 60 percent from their baseline scores - while the control group's scores had only decreased about half as much. The symptom scores included ratings for pain, a feeling of fullness, nausea, and an overall score. The red pepper powder produced significant gains in all four areas.
Many herbalists believe that Cayenne is the most useful and valuable herb in the herb kingdom, not only for the entire digestive system, but also for the heart and circulatory system. It acts as a catalyst and increases the effectiveness of other herbs when used with them.
Cayenne is a medicinal and nutritional herb. It is a very high source of Vitamins A and C, has the complete B complexes, and is very rich in organic calcium and potassium, which is one of the reasons it is good for the heart.
Digestion
Cayenne can rebuild the tissue in the stomach and the peristaltic action in the intestines. It aids elimination and assimilation, and helps the body to create hydrochloric acid, which is so necessary for good digestion and assimilation, especially of proteins. All this becomes very significant when we realize that the digestive system plays the most important role in mental, emotional and physical health, as it is through the digestive system that the brain, glands, muscles and every other part of the body are fed.
Heart
Cayenne has been known to stop heart attacks within 30 seconds. For example, when a 90-year-old man in Oregon had a severe heart attack, his daughter was able to get Cayenne extract into his mouth. He was pronounced dead by the medics, but within a few minutes, he regained consciousness. On the way to the hospital, he remained in a semi-conscious state, but the daughter kept giving him the Cayenne extract. By the time they got to the hospital, he had fully recovered and wanted to go home and mow the lawn. The doctor asked what she had given him, as he said it was the closest thing to a miracle he had ever seen.
Capsicum (cayenne pepper) is said to be unequal for its ability to boost circulation and increase heart action. Capsicum exerts a variety of desirable actions on the entire cardiovascular system. It has the extraordinary ability to enhance cardiovascular performance while actually lowering blood pressure. Capsicum has an energizing effect on the entire system. It has traditionally been used for overcoming fatigue and restoring stamina and vigor. It is a natural stimulant without the threatening side effects (palpitations, hyper-activity or rise in blood pressure) of most other stimulating agents.
Because Capsicum boots peripheral circulation and stimulates organ secretion, it expedites the therapeutic delivery and action of nutrients in the body. It will ensure the rapid and even distribution of the active principles of available nutrients to critical function centers, including those involved in cellular respiration, metabolic data transmission and neural-hormonal action. The remarkable ability of Capsicum to stimulate organ secretion and even heart action makes it one of the strongest natural stimulants known. Clearly, Capsicum should be considered nothing less than a wonder herb that has scientifically proven its worth!
If you want to carry something in your first aid kit for a heart attack, carry a cayenne tincture. Even a bottle of Tabasco Sauce® might be good enough. Dr Christopher discovered that a cup of cayenne tea, one tsp of cayenne in a cup of hot water, stopped a heart attack in under three minutes.

If you feel one coming on, try a few droppers-full of cayenne tincture and if that doesn’t stop it, then nitroglycerine wouldn’t work either.
If a heart attack should occur, it is suggested that a teaspoon of extract be given every 15 minutes or a teaspoon of Cayenne in a glass of hot water be taken until the crisis has passed. Dr. Anderson also knew of a doctor who rushed out into the parking lot and put cayenne tincture into the mouth of a man who had died of a heart attack while he was parking his car. Within a few minutes, the man’s heart starting beating again. More about cayenne and heart attacks
According to Dr. Richard Anderson, using cayenne and hawthorn berries together has a most incredible effect upon the heart. He believes that a regimen of cayenne and hawthorn berries for several months will greatly strengthen the heart, and possibly prevent heart attacks. He states further that if an attack were to occur in someone who had followed this regimen, chances are very good that no damage would occur. He tells the following story about his mother:

“I had her taking hawthorn berries and cayenne when she had a heart attack at the age of 79. Her diet had not been the best, and she was in an extremely stressful situation. While in the hospital, they found three blocked arteries and wanted to operate immediately. They did not think that she could survive for more than a few weeks if they didn’t operate. (How many have heard that story!) The doctors thought it would be very risky to operate, but they had her there, and there was a lot of money to be made. So they decided to take some tests in the hopes that they could find an excuse to operate. In spite of the fact that she had been taking lots of aspirin for her arthritis, smoked like she was the reincarnation of a boiler factory, and had just had a heart attack, they found that her heart was incredibly strong. In fact, they felt that her heart was stronger than most people in their 30’s! The good news was that not only did she survive the operation, but also she stopped smoking! Well worth the operation, don’t you think? In my opinion, that was the best thing the doctors ever did for her. Well, that is what hawthorn and cayenne can do for the heart, and every good herbalist knows it; every good doctor should also know it, but very few do.”
Emergencies
It is a good idea to always have some Cayenne extract on hand for emergencies. Dr. Anderson carries capsules of cayenne with him in the car and whenever he goes hiking, backpacking or mountain climbing. He says, “You never know when you may find someone having a heart attack or some other emergency.”
The following stories demonstrate only a few of the remarkable emergency uses of cayenne:
If a hemorrhage occurs in the lungs, stomach, uterus or nose, it is suggested that a teaspoon of extract (or a teaspoon of cayenne powder in a cup of hot water) be given every 15 minutes until the crisis has passed. The bleeding should stop in 10-30 seconds. The reason for this is that rather than the blood pressure being centralized, it is equalized by the Cayenne, and the clotting action of the blood becomes more rapid. For external bleeding, take cayenne internally and pour cayenne directly on the wound.
Dyspepsia
In a double-blind study, 30 individuals with dyspepsia were given either 2.5 grams daily of red pepper powder (divided up and taken prior to meals) or placebo for 5 weeks. By the third week of treatment, individuals taking red pepper were experiencing significant improvements in pain, bloating, and nausea as compared to placebo, and these relative improvement lasted through the end of the study.
A placebo-controlled crossover study failed to find benefit, but it only enrolled 11 participants, far too few to have much chance of identifying a treatment effect.
All double-blind studies of topical capsaicin (or cayenne) suffer from one drawback: it isn't really possible to hide the burning sensation that occurs during initial use of the treatment. For this reason, such studies probably aren't truly double-blind. It has been suggested that instead of an inactive placebo, researchers should use some other substance (such as camphor) that causes at least mild burning. However, such treatments might also have therapeutic benefits; they have a long history of use for pain as well.
Because of these complications, the evidence for topical treatments cited below is less meaningful than it might at first appear.
Pain
Capsaicin cream is well established as a modestly helpful pain-relieving treatment for post-herpetic neuropathy (the pain that lingers after an attack of shingles) peripheral neuropathy (nerve pain that occurs most commonly as a side effect of diabetes, but may occur with HIV as well as other conditions), nerve pain after cancer surgery and arthritis.
Capsaicin instilled into the nose may be helpful for cluster headache. (The fact that this has even been considered a viable treatment option shows how painful cluster headaches can be!) Actual cayenne rather than capsaicin has been tested for pain as well. A 3-week, double-blind trial of 154 individuals with back pain found that cayenne applied topically as a plaster improved pain to a greater extent than placebo.
Skin Conditions
A double-blind, placebo-controlled trial of almost 200 individuals found that use of topical capsaicin can improve itching as well as overall severity of psoriasis. Benefits were also seen in a smaller double-blind study of topical capsaicin for psoriasis. Topical capsaicin is thought to be helpful for various itchy skin conditions, such as prurigo nodularis, but double-blind studies are lacking.
Cancer
Researchers found capsaicin exhibited anticancer activity (it induced programmed cell death to human cancer cells without affecting normal cells) against pancreatic cancer, an aggressive form of the disease typified by exceptionally poor outcomes." Headaches
Chronic headache sufferers may soon have some new alternatives. The active ingredient in cayenne peppers, capsaicin, is believed to bring headache relief by depleting Substance P, a neurotransmitter that helps send pain signals. learn more: Can Cayenne Peppers Really Cure a Headache?

Grow Your Own Organic Cayenne Peppers in Your Backyard or in Container

Richard Schulze - "If you take cayenne pepper in capsules, you may be wasting your time and never getting the cures I got with my patients."
If your vegetable gardening is limited by insufficient space or an unsuitable area, consider the possibility of raising fresh, nutritious, homegrown cayenne pepper plants in containers. A window sill, a patio, a balcony or a doorstep will provide sufficient space for a productive mini-garden. Almost any vegetable that will grow in a typical backyard garden will also do well as a container-grown plant. You can also have a virtual organic garden. learn more...

Heart Attacks
Dr. Christopher - "In 35 years of practice, and working with the people and teaching, I have never on house calls lost one heart attack patient and the reason is, whenever I go in--if they are still breathing--I pour down them a cup of cayenne tea (a teaspoon of cayenne in a cup of hot water, and within minutes they are up and around). This is one of the fastest acting aids we could ever give for the heart, because it feeds that heart immediately. Most hearts are suffering from malnutrition because of processed food we are eating, but here it gets a good powerful dose of real food and it's something that has brought people in time after time. This is something that everyone should know how great it is, because a heart attack can come to your friends or loved ones any time. And even yourself. The warm tea is faster working than tablets, capsules, cold tea, because the warm tea opens up the cell structure--makes it expand and accept the cayenne that much faster, and it goes directly to the heart, through the artery system, and feeds it in powerful food. "
The Healing Power of Cayenne Pepper : Complete Handbook of Cayenne Home Remedies
Poderes Curativos De Los Chiles/Healiing Powers of Hot Peppers
Left for Dead This book digs up the dirt on the medical establishment saying that heart surgery can nearly kill you and do you no good in the end, all done with a whopping price-tag. Drugs are favored over herbs since they can be patented and sold to patients for great profits. Dick Quinn gives his personal testimony about nearly dying from heart surgery, but finally getting well by taking Cayenne, Garlic, Onion and other herbs, but mainly Cayenne. He scoured the earth looking for the hottest Cayenne he could find to burn his insides out! But no matter how much it burns, it's all good for you.  He started his own herb company servicing mainly heart conditions which had a lot of loyal customers until the FDA... shut him down because his cure was effective and cheap, and the medical establishment did not profit.
.."I ran out and bought some Cayenne and popped several daily. I really didn't get the energy boost he got, but I suppose they're helping... " .The book tells his story first, then describes some herbs secondly, and then ends with the disadvantages of heart surgery. There are sage quotes about the medical establishment and goodness of healing herbs throughout the book from distinguished men. The book seems somewhat disjointed as it goes into its different, but inter-related parts written by different authors. Quinn's story is short, skims the surface, and has some drama, but certainly is not a candidate for an Oscar winning movie. The writing style is direct, conversational, and informative and skips all literary flourishes to get the news out that herbs can heal. I found particularly interesting that drugs like aspirin merely synthetically imitate the healing effects of herbs, such as aspirin being derived from Willow Bark.
Dr. John Christopher, famous natural healer, praised the use of Cayenne throughout the time of his practice. He had this to say in his Newsletter titled "Cayenne", Vol 1, Number 12
"In 35 years of practice, and working with the people and teaching, I have never on house calls lost one heart attack patient and the reason is, whenever I go in--if they are still breathing--I pour down them a cup of cayenne tea (a teaspoon of cayenne in a cup of hot water, and within minutes they are up and around).
To show the value of cayenne, and how great it is, and what a wonderful heart food it is, this story has been repeated in a number of publications on doctors in the East who put some live heart tissue into a sterile beaker filled with distilled water, and fed it nothing but cayenne pepper, cleaning off sediments periodically and adding nothing but distilled water from natural evaporation. During the time that they were feeding the heart tissue, they would have to trim it continually every few days because it would grow so rapidly. Having no control glands (pituitary and pineal glands), the tissue just continued to grow rapidly and, because of this, they had to watch it over the years and the doctors and associates kept the heart tissue alive for fifteen years. After the doctor died, his associates kept it alive for two more years before destroying it so they could do more research work on it. This shows the high food value cayenne gives to heart tissue. This is why so many, many amazing instances have come to light, people who have used cayenne when they had heart attacks because, in most cases, your heart attack is a case of malnutrition. The heart hasn't had a decent meal for so long that it is practically starved, and we give it immediately a good meal instead of whipping it with nitroglycerine or digitalis or some other type of drug to force it to beat rapidly to bring more food values to the heart so that it could find a little help to keep going. Here we give the cayenne directly to the system, and it goes into the heart area acting as a good full meal. Many fast responses come from this."
Historical or traditional use of cayenne
The potent, hot fruit of cayenne has been used as medicine for centuries. It was considered helpful for various conditions of the gastrointestinal tract, including stomachaches, cramping pains, and gas. Cayenne was frequently used to treat diseases of the circulatory system. It is still traditionally used in herbal medicine as a circulatory tonic (a substance believed to improve circulation). Rubbed on the skin, cayenne is a traditional, as well as modern, remedy for rheumatic pains and arthritis due to what is termed a counterirritant effect. A counterirritant is something which causes irritation to a tissue to which it is applied, thus distracting from the original irritation (such as joint pain in the case of arthritis).

Cayenne and Caffeine:

Schenectady, NY (PRWEB) December 24, 2009 -- Caffeine is known for its ability to wake up your mind, but it can also wake up your skin when combined with Capsaicin, the active ingredient in hot peppers. Capsaicin has been proven as an important natural medicine that relieves pain, inflammation, headaches and more, but now there’s a new buzz surrounding the anti-aging properties of this spicy botanical extract. While large doses of capsaicin are proven to fight pain and inflammation, it turns out that small doses can be used to repair skin when combined with caffeine, and there’s no burning sensation. Greensations® brand skin sprays have developed an exclusive formulation that combines natural capsaicin and caffeine to increase topical blood flow while reducing inflammation and repairing skin cell damage.
The new Greensations caffeinated capsaicin skin sprays are creating a big buzz in beauty circles on the web. A recent review on the highly acclaimed Truth In Aging website calls Greensations brand ThermaSkin, the potential “Holy Grail” for skin relief. Not only do Greensations skin sprays stop any irritation or itch almost instantly, but they also tone the skin and revitalize elasticity according to reviews.
“We’ve patented a way to deliver the healing power of hot peppers through the skin without burning. We do this by using an exclusive combination of caffeine, alpha lipoic acid, vegetable glycerin and other herbals to increase permeability and overall absorption, allowing the capsaicin to have an easy pathway through the skin. Unlike anti aging products that require long term use to see results, our skin sprays produce results immediately and we guarantee it,” says Niles Porter, Director of Sales for Greensations.
The skin care secret to capsaicin is its ability to increase epidermal blood flow and desensitize nerve fibers that cause irritation and inflammation on the skin. The increased blood flow flushes out harmful chemicals to soften and tone skin at the same time. The addition of caffeine creates a supercharged absorption that infuses the skin on contact. According to GSC Products, makers of Greensations, the combination of caffeine and capsaicin wakes up the skin and scalp.
“It’s the combination of caffeine and capsaicin that makes the big difference. The caffeine creates super absorption through the epidermis to allow tiny doses of capsaicin to do their thing. Users immediately feel a tingling sensation and you can feel your skin come alive in seconds. Circulation is the key to healing, and the combination of caffeine and capsaicin immediately increases blood flow and gets everything moving. That’s why you see results so fast,” says Wayne Perry, Developer of the Greensations formulas.
While capsaicin revitalizes skin on its own, the caffeine in the Greensations formulas is equally import for protecting skin and repairing UV damage, the enemy of aging skin. While ingesting too much caffeine is not good for skin, topical application of caffeine protects and repairs damaged skin. While human skin generally absorbs less than 25% of the best topical skin care ingredients, caffeine has been proven to be absorbed up to 50%. Recent studies show caffeine can reverse damage from UV exposure by killing skin cancer cells.
“Caffeine affects the skin in many of the same ways as capsaicin. Together they’re a true breakthrough in skin care, but the caffeine is also our delivery system to bring the capsaicin and other botanicals through the layers of skin. We truly have the Holy Grail for skin care here and we’re the first to do it. Best of all, we don’t gouge people like expensive anti-aging products that don’t work as well as caffeinated capsaicin. Why should only rich people look good? By keeping our products under 15 bucks, anyone can afford them,” adds Perry.
Greensations presently sells three caffeinated capsaicin skin sprays under the brand names ThermaSkin, ThermaScalp and ThermaFeet. The company is also launching the world’s first skin repair stick under the ThermaSkin brand in January. The ThermaSkin Skin Repair Stick delivers capsaicin directly to wrinkles in a solid formulation made of beeswax, olive oil, grapeseed oil and arnica. The thin stick is applied like any lip balm, but it’s used directly on wrinkles, crow’s feet, lines, bags and damaged skin. For more information, visit the Greensations capsaicin skin care website or look for Greensations products in select retailers, and on the web at Lucky Vitamin and Harvest Moon.

Is hate stronger than love ?

During christmas everybody wishes peace on Earth. But it never happens. The need to hurt, to kill and to hate is stronger, much stronger than the need to care, to help and to love. Millions and millions of christmas greetings are sent every year, with friendly regards and hope for a better world and future. It never comes. It doesn't work. The world is mad, there hasn't been a decade without war since the beginning of times... In Genesis Abel is the first victim, killed by his brother, Joseph was thrown in a well by his brothers, wow, nice forefathers we have. Tribe against tribe, the Egyptians against the jews, the killing of the first born sons, David and Goliath, Samson and.......no not Delila but the Filistines. The Palestines come in when their land is stolen cos it's promised to someone el.... Nothing to smile about. And history repeats cos since that era no peace ever occurred on earth. Check on your history books.

The new testament starts with "christmas", the birth of Jesus. Now we should be happy, Christ the saviour is born. But he's killed in no time. Jesus was no warrior, he didn't carry any weapon, he didn't hate, he didn't kill and he never hurt anybody. So why did he have enemies ? Why was he murdered, because he preached love ? Because he helped the poor and the sick ? Was there a personal, a political or a religious reason the kill a person that never harmed ? Or wasn't he that innocent..?

Is hate stronger than love ? If you let it happen and let it into your heart, yes it is !!! But there's only place for ONE. Both, hate and love cannot exist together in one heart, you have to kick out one of them. It's up to you which one to keep.

I made my decision. I want to live in peace, in harmony with my friends and my animals, there's no place for hate or anger. Not because of christmas, not because everybody is asking for peace on Earth, no. Just because I want it to happen. I will not allow negative energy to enter my world, I'll reject it. And you know what?...... It feels good.

This is what I want to share with you, stop trying to change the world, start with yourself ! Peace on Earth, merry christmas or I love you, only say these words when you really mean them.

To all my followers, readers, friends and not-friends: I wish you a merry christmas, have love in your heart and have a good start in the new year. I like to thank those of you who did, for sending me very nice and warming e-mails in supporting my blog and wishing me happy holidays. You're great friends, thank you.

Helicopter crash Chuck Norris film.

Click pix to enlarge.

-->
This day was a disaster for the Chuck Norris film crew but certainly a black page in the international film industry in the Philippines. We just left the shooting location in the mountains of Ternate about 2.5 miles from my place in Naic Cavite. We shot the action for “Braddock, Missing in Action 3” at Maragondon bridge. The set was moving up to Manila for the final shots. Chuck rescued some 68 half caste children and finds his way thru the jungle of Nam, joined by a priest. To reach freedom, they need to cross a bridge whit 10 green berets guarding the scene on the other side of the river. I'm one of them. Airborn: 2 helicopters with rolling camera's, who could have predict that one of these heli's was going to crash within two days, although, there seemed to be something wrong before, the crew been talking about vibrations in the rotor or something. When they took off at diner time, the turbulence dusted our meals. Thursday, May 28, 1987.  2 Days later one of these aircrafts crashed in Manila Bay, on its way to Ternate, (less than 6 Mls from my place), killing 4, wounding 5.

It wasn't the first time a film crew came down to that area, the landscape could go for Vietnam. Platoon blew up an entire valley with napalm bombs , in '86 during a night-shooting... that action for sure woke up the entire population in Cavite... Hamburger Hill found its Hill over here in december that same year..!!   Eastern Condor made their shots, and now MIA 3 is shooting a highlight...

Piri's map. A map older than our history..

Piri's maps (early 1500)

A lost civilisation must have made this map, it's a projection 'from above'. This is what you see when the edges of the continents decline on the horizon. It's interesting to see there's a central point in the middle of the Allantic. Is this the lost continent/island Atlantis..? There seem to be more 'central points' on this map. One up North and another 2 down South. What was going on their..???

Other maps Piri used were all projections, centred from the Giza hights. And, believe me, these pyramids and the Sphynx were NOT built by the Pharao's some 4000 years back.

They were the ones to FIND the buildings in the sand and to re-shape the huge damaged Lionhead into a Pharao's head and to enter/break in to the Pyramids and to leave their marks behind...

With Robert Bauval I believe they were built some 13,000 years ago, by a civilisation swept away by a worldwide catastrophe that flooded the Earth. Some of them survived to tell the stories we now know as Myths ans Sages, the Tales from Atlantis....

..Were théy the Gods who re-shaped the world and created the Adams and Eve's, a generation after 'The Flood'. ???

The Power of Words.

The Power of Words

Words are important. They bring ideas into the physical universe.

At times, the phrases we continually repeat - often without thinking what we are invoking - may have quite unintended consequences.
An example would be the frequently used word "last" as in "in my last e-mail" or "their last newsletter". Rarely we mean that our e-mail or their newsletter should really be "the last one", but our words imply it. Using "latest" instead of "last" would be much preferable.
There is an old saying - the devil is in the details. So - better watch out!

How many times have we set goals, visualized our desired outcome, created and repeated positive affirmations, and yet still not achieved what we had hoped? There are numerous potential causes for this. Sometimes its simply a matter of WORDS.

Every sound we utter sends out an energy wave that aids in creating our world. With every sentence we speak we are improving or destroying our health, relationships, finances, etc.

The most powerful example I've ever heard was a story told to me directly by the woman who had the experience. This woman had developed an incurable disease of the eyes. She was quickly going blind. Her physicians said there was NOTHING they could do. Being very determined and not liking what she heard, she turned to alternative therapies for a possible cure - something she never would have done had she not been in this desperate situation. A friend recommended she see someone that did crystal healing. She thought that sounded ridiculous but decided to give it a try. During her appointment, the crystal healing therapist asked her to describe herself, her life, etc. and she let her talk for about 10 minutes. Suddenly, the therapist stopped her and said "Did you know that in the last 10 minutes you said the words 'I hate to see' 15 times?" The woman was shocked. She used the words "I hate to see" before many things. "I hate to see the way the world is going." "I hate to see how they are treating the children in schools." On and on she made reference to "I hate to see" this or that. This was literally an eye opening experience. She switched her words and now years later has perfect vision.

HOW MANY WORDS DO WE USE THAT DESTROY OUR DESIRES?
NEVER NEVER NEVER say "I'm Sorry." Two of the most powerful words in the English language are the words I AM. These words tell every part of you - your personality, your subconscious, your ego, your spirit - who you are. They define WHO YOU ARE. Be very careful what you place behind those words. When you say "I'm sorry," you are saying that WHO YOU ARE is a sorry individual. Replace the words "I'm sorry" with "I apologize." Anyone who eliminates the words "I'm sorry" from their vocabulary will increase their self esteem almost immediately! The same goes for "I'm sick." "I'm tired." "I'm stupid." - you get the idea. Replace those with "I feel ___" and eliminate the stupid comment altogether.

SO WHAT DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH GOAL ACHIEVEMENT?
Another very important aspect of conscious language is the LAW OF FOCUS. Whatever we place our attention on is what we create. It's important to focus on the positive thing we desire rather than the negative thing we want to avoid. For example, never focus on NOT AGING. Focusing on not aging ensures that you will age and quickly. Instead focus on being healthy, vibrant, and youthful.

An interesting and often overlooked part of all this is the need to avoid words that are negating a negative. What the heck do I mean by that? A word like LIMITLESS is actually drawing the subconscious mind to focus on LIMITS. This is NOT what we want. So saying something like LIMITLESS ABUNDANCE is placing limits on the abundance.

An example from my own life is the word EFFORTLESS. In the past when I made affirmations, I would typically end them with the words "easy, effortless, and fun." An example might be "Having a wonderful relationship is easy, effortless, and fun." This was actually drawing EFFORT into my life. Since I have eliminated that word and now only use "easy and fun" EVERYTHING has shifted. We sold our house in 2 weeks because it was "easy and fun." - and there was no EFFORT involved. Doug's immigration process to the U.S. was taken care of in less than 2 months. There are many, many other examples of how this has made things move very quickly and easily for us.

Review your own affirmations and the words you say out loud or just to yourself and see how POSITIVE you are actually being. It does make a difference!

Return from the river Kwai

(Full movie: click here )

And exclusive photo album..scroll down.!
"Return from the river Kwai"

The Japs kept us POW, and me and my fellow prisoners had to built bridges and railroads across the river Kwai to Birma.
This film starts about where "The Bridge on the river Kwai" ended. Destroyed bridges, air attacks by the Americans to prevent the build of the railroad.
Our camp commander was George Takei ( aka dr. Sulu from the Star trek-movies with mr. Spock, the Ears). And he was a tough commander, order and discipline, hard work and cruel punishments.
The main characters were cast on dialect, like Edward Fox, a purebred Cockney gentleman on the British side and Nick Tate with a Crocodile Dundee Aussie accent on the other side. Most prisoners were from other origin and nationalities but that didn't matter cos most of us had no lines. So there was a British wagon and an Australian one. I joined the antipodeans and became 'mates' with Nick Tate and his guys, singing 'Walzing Mathilde' while marching to the camp. . But I was also playing 'Rule Brittania' on the harmonica.....
There wasn't only the 'prisoner-commander' relation between George and Brad Altman...They married in september 2008, after 20 years of ' dating' asa Californian laws allowed them to do such..
George was ( and still is..!) a likeable guy with a penetrating voice which he used to use in the lower vocal cords. The character he played in this movie was in a total contradiction with his real personality.
The contrast was very noticeable to us, as he played an asshole, death threatening commander but when he joined us during a 'take 5 men' pause he was such a cool gentleman, passing us the salt...
Then Chris Penn, Sean's brother, literal fell from the sky when his plane was shot down by the Japanese and added a total different turn to the story. To me it was a dialect paradise, the Eden of languages. His American slang, Edward's Cockney, Nick's Aussie, the locals in Tagalog of course and Taglish, and some other guys I could speak German with....
Anyway, Chris' appearance became a reason for the Jap guards to even treat us worse than before which resulted in several executions and other reprisals. At the camp side we were exposed to the hot sun for hours, no drinks... Then, just in time to prevent another execution, a higher commander arrived an told us in his unintelligible English we were to be evacuated. To Japan....! First by train on the rails we constructed, a journey through the jungles of Burma, Thailand , Cambodia all the way to Saigon, Vietnam, a French colony at that moment. The Brazil Maru was our target, the boat to JAPAN.
But we weren't there yet..! Hell no. Camera's were aimed at our wagons,('cattle coupé de luxe') and the Japanese head quarters in a more furnished environment. Shots were taken inside and outside the vehicles. It was a long trip, hot again and there was no water for the prisoners.
It was the 2nd day on the train I found out about another guy doing non regular healings, I wasn't the only one to cure peeps..! He was an American who fought ailments with needles, an Acupuncturist. So first thing next stop I found my way to the other wagon where I met with Bob from St. Paul's-Minneapolis. Surname: Kelley..! R. Kelley to say, hehehe but this Bob didn't sing. ( smoked pot though..) We became close friends and I learned a lot about Acu..

Edward Fox found out about our successes and all of a sudden remembered a forgotten painful spot somewhere. He asked me if I : "..could do anything about it.."
He suffered from a small cramp which was easily found and neutralized. He was a very pleasant person to be with, extremely polite, a gentleman full of attention and always with a big smile on his face. Proud to have met him.
And so it happened that Bob and I both had our practice on board the 'Deathtrain". Oh, there were a lot of guys who came by for a treatment. Can say our 'load' of prisoners made it to the place of destination in a much better health than the guys who made this trip for real and very often didn't survive till the end...

A real happening when we marched the streets of Saigon, from the railroad station up to the harbour....with pride in the heart and a straight back we were defying the Japs and sang all the way. But our straight backs bend when we approach the harbor, yes, there she was, the Brasil Maru, but we had to work, the cargo had to be stowed....no rest.
I just had thrown my bundle in the ship's hold and was on my way back to the gangway when I noticed turmoil at the quay, people running around and screaming. And they moved in a weird way. An earthquake was going on and that wasn't in the script.
It took a second before I realized what was going on, the ship was rolling a little as it did all day and I didn't feel the quake at all. The peeps on the quay did...! It was funny to see those moves from a 'solid' position. I wanted to feel that so I hurried to the gangway and walked down to only feel the last and milder tremors halfway the plank. It was over when I disembarked....
Back to work and so were the camera's. Sweating and stumbling we did our coercion labour and again thirst was our main grieve but the Japs wouldn't let us drink and some more prisoners were about to perish when we were packed and stored inside the sweltering hot hold.
Edward Fox' protests weren't heard and he pointed a couple of men with enough physical power left to resist the enemy with mutiny..I got a wink from Ed and an ear to ear smile when he selected me to be one of the mutineers. Bentford's men..!
It seemed to be a piece a cake to take over the ship, most of the guards were eliminated but not yet the officers. I was down below in the machine room when disaster came over us. An allied submarine scored a bulls eye-torpedo-hit and the Brasil Maru went down and sank in the Chinese Sea.
Me, I'm guzzled by the deep waters..and some with me. We gave our lives...... But others survived by holding floating fragments and were rescued by the same sub.

Bombing the bridge we built. The prisoners were blaimed for the attack by the Americans who distroyed our bridge. 4 of us were to be executed as reprisal.

Edward Fox

George Takei

Ronnie Lazaro.

Tatsuya didn't speak a word of English and surprised us all by his phonetic performance. We didn't understand a word of it but that didn't matter, we got the message though...

Inside the Submarine, Alex Blaise and  ?. These guys fired a torpedo at our ship.

Jim Mckenzie

The commander in an old classic car (1929 Chrysler). This was at the POW camp. We are on transport by train from Thailand to the harbor of Saigon. Australian prisoners in one wagon( Nick Tate) and British in an other one (Edward Fox). The dialogues between those two are a pleasure for the ear.

In the steets of "Saigon", with a classic 1932 Plymouth.

Watch the classic Ford super de luxe sedan 1947 and a Willys MB jeep.

The march from the railroad to the ship.
We are singing: Waltzing Matilda:

Once a jolly swagman
Camped by a billabong,
Under the shade
Of a coolibah tree,
And he sang as he watched
And waited 'til his billy boiled
"You'll come a-waltzing,
Matilda, with me"

Waltzing Matilda,
Waltzing Matilda
You'll come a-waltzing,
Matilda, with me
And he sang as he watched
And waited 'til his billy boiled,
"You'll come a-waltzing,
Matilda, with me"

Down came a jumbuck
To drink at the billabong,
Up jumped the swagman
And grabbed him with glee,
And he sang as he stowed
That jumbuck in his tucker bag,
"You'll come a-waltzing,
Matilda, with me"

Waltzing Matilda,
Waltzing Matilda
You'll come a-waltzing,
Matilda, with me
And he sang as he watched
And waited 'til his billy boiled,
"You'll come a-waltzing,
Matilda, with me."

Down rode the squatter,
Mounted on his thoroughbred,
Up came the troopers,
One, two, three,
"Where's that jolly jumbuck
You've got in your tucker bag?
You'll come a-waltzing,
Matilda, with me"

Waltzing Matilda,
Waltzing Matilda
You'll come a-waltzing,
Matilda, with me
And he sang as he watched
And waited 'til his billy boiled,
"You'll come a-waltzing,
Matilda, with me."

Up jumped the swagman,
Sprang into the billabong,
"You'll never catch me
Alive," said he,
And his ghost may be heard
As you pass by the billabong,
You'll come a-waltzing,
Matilda, with me.

Waltzing Matilda,
Waltzing Matilda
You'll come a-waltzing,
Matilda, with me
And he sang as he watched
And waited 'til his billy boiled,
"You'll come a-waltzing,
Matilda, with me."
