Is hate stronger than love ?

During christmas everybody wishes peace on Earth. But it never happens. The need to hurt, to kill and to hate is stronger, much stronger than the need to care, to help and to love. Millions and millions of christmas greetings are sent every year, with friendly regards and hope for a better world and future. It never comes. It doesn't work. The world is mad, there hasn't been a decade without war since the beginning of times... In Genesis Abel is the first victim, killed by his brother, Joseph was thrown in a well by his brothers, wow, nice forefathers we have. Tribe against tribe, the Egyptians against the jews, the killing of the first born sons, David and Goliath, Samson and.......no not Delila but the Filistines. The Palestines come in when their land is stolen cos it's promised to someone el.... Nothing to smile about. And history repeats cos since that era no peace ever occurred on earth. Check on your history books.

The new testament starts with "christmas", the birth of Jesus. Now we should be happy, Christ the saviour is born. But he's killed in no time. Jesus was no warrior, he didn't carry any weapon, he didn't hate, he didn't kill and he never hurt anybody. So why did he have enemies ? Why was he murdered, because he preached love ? Because he helped the poor and the sick ? Was there a personal, a political or a religious reason the kill a person that never harmed ? Or wasn't he that innocent..?

Is hate stronger than love ? If you let it happen and let it into your heart, yes it is !!! But there's only place for ONE. Both, hate and love cannot exist together in one heart, you have to kick out one of them. It's up to you which one to keep.

I made my decision. I want to live in peace, in harmony with my friends and my animals, there's no place for hate or anger. Not because of christmas, not because everybody is asking for peace on Earth, no. Just because I want it to happen. I will not allow negative energy to enter my world, I'll reject it. And you know what?...... It feels good.

This is what I want to share with you, stop trying to change the world, start with yourself ! Peace on Earth, merry christmas or I love you, only say these words when you really mean them.

To all my followers, readers, friends and not-friends: I wish you a merry christmas, have love in your heart and have a good start in the new year. I like to thank those of you who did, for sending me very nice and warming e-mails in supporting my blog and wishing me happy holidays. You're great friends, thank you.

Bert.

Well, the legend/myth of Christ has created so much evil over the years, that I wish he just wasn't born. Sure, Jesus was evil, and childish, and revengeful. Here's some stuff he did, which of course can't be forgiven and is impossible to understand. Because what evil has a fig tree done?:

There's a politician in Holland, Wilders, not really a muslim friend, who said when all evil, hate and revenge were removed from the Koran there would be no more left than a booklet, smaller than the Donald Duck. The first book of the Bible starts with murder already, leaving Kain as one of our forfathers. The brothers of Joseph threw him in a well to die. Are our roots here? No wonder the world turned to what it is now. In my eyes religions are the cause of many wars and killings, since the beginning, up to now....Thanks for comments, Fred.

Gentlemen,
The story of Cain and Able is to show us that Evil exists in Man, the Self, the selfishness of Man does not have to be taught. Young babies exhibit it without being taught. Instead we must teach them to "Share".
"Jesus was evil" where do you get that? The central theme of the Bible is that Man must follow his Conscience that God put within him that tells him what is right or wrong. Romans chapter 2 tells us that 'Man is without excuse, for his Conscience bears witness'.
It is the followers, the extreme of any religion or political party, who are the worst. KKK, Al Queda, Nazi, Communism, etc. All the Nationalism, and other ISMs are the same. But it is the Heart of men, as you were saying Bert, that shows how 'seared the conscience' is and no longer does the voice inside, the Moral Compass work. One with a seared conscience is unable to stop himself.

There are some things written here I need to think about. These are quotes from the holy books ( Koran and Thora are commented as well, see he sidebar of this blog). I'll try to read this in several languages to find different interpretations. I checked on some links already, and it's indeed written with these words. As for myself: I see God as a synonymous for Good. I believe in Good and try to avoid the Bad and the Evil.
( I was about to write: 'and the Ugli', hahaha).

If everybody who says he's a Christian or Muslim or any other 'Holy book believer', only lived according the 10 commandments, then nobody would be robbed or killed or dishonnored.

Thou shall not kill. .. to start with ! Teach all soldiers to pray: 'I shall not kill'.

There's a lot have to think about. Bert.
